Minister Mitov participates in the third joint Bulgarian-Greek High-Level Cooperation Council

Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov participated in the third joint meeting between the governments of Bulgaria and Greece, known as the High-Level Cooperation Council. The Council included plenary session and bilateral meetings, which were held in Boyana Residence.
 
Minister Daniel Mitov and his Greek counterpart Nikos Kotzias discussed the promotion of bilateral cooperation and possibilities for boosting of bilateral contacts in all spheres. The talks between the two countries' foreign ministers focused on cooperation in economy, energy and migration policy.
 
Bulgaria and Greece agreed to lay the solid foundations of close and constructive cooperation, so that both can take full advantage in a rapidly changing international environment and challenges faced by the neighboring countries in recent months.
 
During the meeting Minister Mitov and Minister Kotzias signed a Programme on Cooperation in Education, Science and Culture for 2016-2018.
