Minister Daniel Mitov to meet with NATO Secretary General

Minister Daniel Mitov will meet on 22 January with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who will pay an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of President Rosen Plevneliev.
The meetings of NATO Secretary General will focus on leading topics on NATO’s agenda and Bulgaria’s contribution to the activities of the Alliance, regional and energy security, defense spending, NATO’s Readiness Action Plan, the support of the Alliance for Ukraine and other partner countries, the role of NATO in the Western Balkans and Afghanistan.
Jens Stoltenberg is scheduled to meet with President Rosen Plevneliev, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Minister of Defence Nikolay Nenchev.
