Minister Nickolay Mladenov to meet Massoud Barzani
29 March 2012 Diplomatic CalendarOn March 29 2012, Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov will hold talks with the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan region and President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani.
This is Mr Barzani’s first visit to Bulgaria.
Minister Mladenov and Mr Barzani will discuss opportunities for more active co-operation between Bulgaria and northern Iraq in various fields, and will discuss the situation in the Middle East.
President Barzani will meet Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, at whose invitation he is visiting the country, and will meet the President of the National Assembly, Tsetska Tsacheva.
