Bulgarian citizens kidnapped in Sudan
13 January 2011On 13 January 2011 a three-member crew of Bulgarian citizens, employees of a Bulgarian airline company, delivering flights under UN agreement, were kidnapped by unknown perpetrators in Northern Sudan. The local authorities and the UN forces (UNMIS) have responded immediately. The MFA Crises Center cooperates with the airline company and the UN Situation Centre for more details on the matter. Contacts was established with other embassies in Khartoum which have had similar problems during the last years.
