Advice to Bulgarian citizens travelling and residing in Libya
11 February 2013Given the upcoming celebrations in Libya of the second anniversary of the revolution against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, the Foreign Ministry advises Bulgarian citizens residing in Libya during the period of the celebrations – from February 14 to 18 2013 – to be especially cautious, to refrain from travelling in the country and to not participate in large-scale public events.
It is recommended that Bulgarian citizens keep in touch with the Embassy in Tripoli and seek assistance if necessary.
