Advice to Bulgarian citizens travelling and living in Egypt

28 January 2013

In regard to the state of emergency announced on January 27 2013 by Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and the critical situations in Port Said, Suez and Ismailia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Bulgarian citizens to refrain from travelling to these cities. Bulgarians resident there should obey the curfew in force from 9pm to 6am and should comply strictly with the orders of the local security forces.

If necessary, assistance may be rendered by Bulgarian Embassy staff.
