Measures against the Spread of COVID-19 in Croatia

In connection with the preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19, we would like to advise all Bulgarian nationals that if they enter Croatian territory from one of the following countries affected by the disease: Republic of Korea, Japan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as of today, 10 March 2020, they will be subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine or they will not be allowed into the country.
The Embassy’s inquiries yielded the following information: the mandatory quarantine does not apply to transit passengers if they do not exhibit symptoms of infection at the border and if their stay in Croatia is not set to last for longer than 24 hours.
Bulgarian nationals who need assistance may call the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Zagreb at the  following numbers: +385 146 46 609 or, outside business hours, at +385 984 69 808.

Reports and requests for assistance in emergency situations will be received from Bulgarians at the phone numbers of the Situation Center Directorate (+359 2 948 24 04; +359 2 971 38 56) or at the following e-mail: crisis@mfa.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on all Bulgarian nationals who are on a trip abroad to register by completing the “I am traveling to…” line at the following address:
