Brazilian Federal Police confirm detention of Galabin Boevski
27 October 2011The Brazilian Federal Police have informed the Embassy of Bulgaria in Brazil that Bulgarian citizen Galabin Boevski was arrested on the night of October 24-25 2011 at the airport in Sao Paulo. He was detained because nine kilograms of cocaine were found in his luggage. Mr. Boevski has been taken into temporary custody, questioned through an interpreter and awaits being charged. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided the relatives of the detained Bulgarian national with list of lawyers who can take on his defence.
