Statement by Minister Daniel Mitov on the Shootings in Copenhagen

Bulgaria strongly condemns the shootings in Copenhagen which claimed lives and injured innocent civilians. This appears to be another terrorist attack targeted at one of our fundamental values - the freedom of speech. We will not allow fear to conquer Europe.
We offer our sympathy and condolences to the Danish people. In these challenging times, we will stay united against extremism and violence and we will fight them with all democratic means.
