Meeting of Minister Kristian Vigenin with OSCE Secretary General

During his working visit to Vienna, Minister Kristian Vigenin met with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Ambassador Lamberto Zannier.
They discussed the current issues on the agenda of the Organization and its role in the de-escalation of the crisis in Ukraine. Minister Vigenin reaffirmed Bulgaria’s political interest and support for the efforts of OSCE in this critical for the European security and stability moment.
OSCE Secretary General expressed gratitude to Bulgaria for its active participation in the activities of the Organization in the field of international security, as well as for its contribution to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine in which our country participates with six observers.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Vigenin invited OSCE Secretary General to visit Bulgaria and to continue the fruitful exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
