Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Chisinau, Petar Valov, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti.The official ceremony took place on 9 April 2014.
In the following conversation, they discussed the condition and the opportunities for strengthening the bilateral relations, the recent developments in the region and the situation of the Bulgarian community in Moldova.
Ambassador Valov confirmed Bulgaria's support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the pro-European direction of the country.
