Consulate in Moscow issues 200 000th visa
26 June 2013 NewsMaria Bulava, eight, is the recipient of the 200 000th visa issued by the Bulgarian consular office in Moscow this year. She will travel to Bulgaria with her mother to take part in a cultural programme at the invitation of Byala Municipality. The passport will be handed over at the Bulgarian Embassy. The tour operator that organised the trip is providing a voucher for a one-week free holiday.
The trend of growth in the number of visas issued to Russian tourists is continuing. At this time, the number of visas issued is 17 per cent higher than in the same period of 2012 and 163 per cent higher than in the same period of 2009.
