The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Nadezhda Neynski, held a telephone conversation with her counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
Our top diplomat expressed gratitude on behalf of our country for the assistance provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in the evacuation of the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tehran. Bulgaria strongly condemns the attack with unmanned aerial vehicles against civilian targets in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Republic of Azerbaijan. Minister Neynski also expressed Bulgaria's solidarity with the Azerbaijani state and people in connection with the attack and shared her hope for a speedy recovery of those affected.
