Bulgaria’s consular office in Moscow issues a record number of visas
28 May 2013 NewsA total of 7623 visas were issued by the Bulgarian consular office in Moscow in just one day. This is a record for the number of visas issued since the introduction of a visa system between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Russian Federation. Up to now, Bulgaria’s consular office in Moscow has reported a 29 per cent increase in visas issued compared to the same period of 2012, and 161 per cent more than in 2009.
Extended hours for consular service have been introduced and all applications are processed promptly and accurately. Acceptance of visa applications from visa center starts at 8am, and the visa sticker is completed by 10.30pm.
Today Bulgaria’s consular office in Moscow also issued the 100 000th visa. The recipient is a Russian national travelling to Bulgaria for tourism.
