Bulgarian to head EU Delegation to Libya
22 May 2013 NewsEuropean Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton has announced the appointment of Nataliya Apostolova as Head of the EU Delegation to Libya.
In a statement on May 21, Catherine Ashton said that Nataliya Apostolova’s talent and expertise were significant assets for the work of the European External Action Service. I look forward to working with her in support of stability and the transition to democracy in Libya,” the High Representative said.
Nataliya Apostolova was up to nowthe EU’s Deputy Head of Delegation to Egypt and has previously worked in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and at the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU.
