Kosovo’s membership of the Regional Cooperation Council is a positive step

The decision by the Regional Cooperation Council to accept the Republic of Kosovo as a full member is a positive step. Bulgaria, as a founder of the Council, welcomes the accession of Priština. The participation of Kosovo in all integration formats in the region strengthens security, peace and the policy of good neighbourliness in South Eastern Europe. These changes also reflect the results of the dialogue mediated by the EU between Belgrade and Priština in the interest of the normalisation of relations between the two countries.
