Minister Nikolay Milkov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov received at the MFA the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Bulgaria Viktor Temirbayev. During their first meeting they discussed the opportunities for further development and deepening of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan.
The main topics of the talks were the strengthening of political dialogue and the need to further intensify trade and economic cooperation in general, especially in the field of transport and connectivity. Cultural cooperation and people-to-people contacts were also discussed.
The importance of the small community of Kazakh citizens of Bulgarian ethnic origin, which is another bridge for developing and deepening our bilateral relations in a spirit of friendship and goodwill, was also noted during the meeting.
