Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova received copies of the Letters of Credence of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Bulgaria Vasil Grivna.
The meeting confirmed the desire to continue the active bilateral political dialogue and deepen cooperation between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest. The deputy minister briefed the Slovak ambassador on the priorities of the caretaker government in the field of foreign policy. Ambassador Grivna confirmed Slovakia’s support for Bulgaria’s accession to Schengen, the Eurozone and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
