A ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to award long-serving officials with honorary diplomas for their high professionalism and overall contribution to the building and development of the diplomatic service and the consolidation of the authority of Bulgarian foreign policy. Among the awardees were Bulgarian ambassadors, diplomats and experts.
The event was attended by representatives of the leadership, the Professional Association of Civil Servants of the Diplomatic Service and current diplomats and experts.
The honorary diplomas were presented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov, who congratulated the awardees and thanked them for their long-standing work. “I extend our deepest respect. You worked with dignity for Bulgaria, the achievements of our country are also due to your efforts,” he said in his address during the ceremony.
