More polling stations in North America open

Voting day in Bulgaria’s national referendum has begun in Canada and the United States. At 1pm Bulgarian time polling stations in Washington DC, New York, Ottawa and Toronto opened. It is expected that the referendum will start in Chicago at 2pm Bulgarian time and in Los Angeles at 4pm.
Voter turnout in Moscow currently is the highest at any voting station abroad. By 3pm local time there, 95 Bulgarian citizens had voted. Thirty-four people voted in St Petersburg.
