Deputy Minister Georgiev opened an exhibition on the occasion of 30 years of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vasil Georgiev opened an exhibition with archival photos on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan. The event took place on 2 June 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was organised by the Diplomatic Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the State Institute for Culture and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria.

“Bulgaria has excellent political relations with Kazakhstan. In the second half of the year, we foresee diplomatic meetings in order to move forward with the development of our bilateral dialogue. We are also happy about the good attitude towards Bulgarians living in Kazakhstan,” Deputy Minister Georgiev said.

The guests of the exhibition were welcomed by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria, Temirtay Izbastin, who also gave high evaluation to the bilateral relations. He stressed that there have been significant successes in all areas of mutual interest and pointed out that the dialogue between the two countries is developing progressively.

Among those present at the event were the Director of the Diplomatic Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tanya Mihaylova, the Director of the State Institute for Culture Snezhana Yoveva, as well as foreign diplomats and political leaders.
