Joint production of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bulgarian National Television marks 30 years since Bulgaria's accession to the IOF

The documentary "Francophonie Street", realized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bulgarian National Television, celebrates the 30th anniversary of Bulgaria's accession to the International Organization of Francophonie.

The screening will take place on Saturday, March 26, at 6 pm in the Slaveykov Hall of the French Institute as part of the cultural and educational program to mark March 20 - International Francophonie Day.

The film in French traces the birth of the idea of membership, as well as the individual stages marked by significant events or meetings. In addition to recalling the economic and political context in which Bulgaria found itself when it joined the IOF in 1991, it presents to the general public the main actors and structures of the Francophonie in Bulgaria for the past period to date.

Before and after the screening, viewers will have the opportunity to talk to the film's production team: author and screenwriter Milena Dimitrova, director Damyan Petrov, editor Adriana Dimitrova, editing Malin Arnautski, screenwriter Teodor Zlatkov, cameraman Alex Samundzhi.
