Ambassador Ivan Naydenov presented his credentials to the President of Cape Verde Jose Maria Neves

On 17 March 2022, during a solemn ceremony at the official residence of the President of Cape Verde in Mindelo on the island of Sao Vicente, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Cape Verde Ivan Naidenov presented his credentials to President Jose Maria Neves.
During the talks after the ceremony, the two discussed the state of the bilateral relations and prospects for their development in priority areas for co-operation between the two countries, such as education, trade and economic relations and tourism.
The day before, on March 16, Ambassador Naidenov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration of the Republic of Cape Verde, Dr Rui Alberto de Figueiredo Soares, to whom he presented copies of his credentials.
