The Bulgarian delegation, led by Minister Teodora Genchovska, honored the memory of Gotse Delchev in Skopje

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska laid flowers on the grave of Gotse Delchev in the yard of  the "Sveti Spas" ("Holy Savior") church in Skopje during her visit to the Republic of Northern Macedonia. The reason for the visit is the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gotse Delchev and the opening of an office of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency in Skopje. Our Foreign Minister led the Bulgarian delegation, which also included Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova, Deputy Minister of Culture Yuri Valkovski and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Media Toshko Yordanov. At the anniversary ceremony on behalf of the Republic of Northern Macedonia the Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stoychevska and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fatmire Isaki took part.

In the presence of the members of the two delegations, the BTA Director General Kiril Valchev officially opened the Press Club of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency in Skopje. At the ceremony, Minister Genchovska congratulated the BTA team, emphasizing that there is already a real media connection between the two countries and expressed confidence that journalists work in an atmosphere of collegial and friendly cooperation in the name of high professionalism. During the visit, the Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs attended the opening of the exhibition of the State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs "Miraculous Icons and Holy Relics of the Balkans" at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute and met with representatives of the Bulgarian community.
