Bulgaria takes over the chairmanship of the Central European Initiative

As of today, January 1, 2022, the Republic of Bulgaria takes over the chairmanship of the Central European Initiative for a period of one year.
The working priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency are related to the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic, the improvement of connectivity, youth, and cooperation between local authorities. In pursuance of these priorities, high-level and expert-level events, as well as meetings of heads of government and foreign ministers will be held in 2022.
