The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Zaritsa Dinkova received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bulgaria Li Ho-shik. Among the highlights of the conversation were the excellent bilateral relations, the mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of culture, science and education, as well as the opportunities for their further activation.
Deputy Minister Dinkova and Ambassador Li stressed the constructive dialogue between Bulgaria and Republic of Korea, which must continue. The Bulgarian side highlighted its desire to strengthen, expand and elevate bilateral relations to a "strategic partnership" and expressed its intention to maintain a very good level of political dialogue.
Among the topics of conversation was the deepening of trade and economic cooperation on the occasion of the high investment potential of the South Korean corporate sector. The Bulgarian side proposed to organize a meeting at the Ministry of Economy, during which to identify specific steps for joint action in this area, in view of the issues raised by the South Korean side and common views.
