The Ministry of Foreign Affairs raised before the Greek authorities the issue with the introduced rapid tests for drivers

On the instructions of Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Greece, Valentin Poryazov urgently raised the issue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens, the Ministry of Civil Protection and the National Border Police regarding the rapid antigen tests for truck drivers at border checkpoints with Bulgaria.
Our ambassador has demanded that the Greek institutions immediately stop this practice, as it contradicts EU regulations. The Greek side accepted the validity of the Bulgarian arguments and undertook to overcome the problem.
