First Bulgarian Truck Load of Mineral Water from Bulgaria Arrives in Croatia

02 January 2021 News

The first Bulgarian heavy-duty truck load of mineral water, supplied by Bulgaria as relief aid after the devastating earthquake in Croatia on 29 December 2020, arrived in the Croatian town of Petrinja. The delivery was welcomed by representatives of the Croatian Red Cross and by the Bulgarian Ambassador in Zagreb Genka Georgieva.

The mineral water shipment consists of 30 pallets of 15,120 bottles, or 22,800 litres altogether.

We recall that the first consignments of humanitarian aid from Bulgaria: camp beds, mattresses and radiators, were delivered to Croatia by three flights of C-27J Spartan military transport aircraft, crewed by Bulgarian Air Force personnel. On 30 December 2020, the Council of Ministers allocated EUR 100,000 through the MFA budget in earthquake recovery aid for Croatia.
