Deputy Minister Lyutskanov Welcomes Participants of Bulgaria-Republic of Korea Policy Forum

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Milen Lyutskanov welcomed the participants of Bulgaria-Republic of Korea Policy Forum entitled ‘Bilateral Cooperation Fit for the Future’ dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Korea.

Milen Lyutskanov highlighted the historical similarities between Bulgaria and Republic of Korea. „Despite the geographical distance, we are very close as people,“ said the Deputy Minister. He expressed thanks to the Korean Ambassador Jeong Jinkyu and his country for the support for Bulgaria in connection with the latter’s aspirations to join the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Hosts of the forum Bilateral Cooperation Fit for the Future were the Economic Policy Institute, the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Bulgaria and the Diplomatic Institute with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
