Teams from Sofia and Skopje to Tap Berlin Process Presidency Experience in London and Warsaw

Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia will send joint teams to Poland and to the United Kingdom to tap their experience in organising the joint presidency of the Berlin Process which Sofia and Skopje will assume in 2020, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva said at a working meeting in Poznan, Poland, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov and with Britain’s Minister of State for Europe, Sir Alan Duncan. The three diplomats are attending a meeting of the Berlin Process countries’ foreign ministers.

Ambassador Wieslaw Tarka, Berlin Process Coordinator in Poland, which presides over the initiative for 2019, also took part in the meeting.

Items on the future agenda of the joint presidency and initiatives for the active inclusion of civil society and in particular young people in the presidency priorities were also discussed at the meeting.
