Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria strongly condemns the attack on the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Turkey. There is no excuse for the assassination of Ambassador Andrey Karlov. We condemn all forms of terror, and expect the investigation to uncover the perpetrators and organizers of the act. We mourn the loss and we offer our condolences to his family and loved ones.
Minister Daniel Mitov sent a letter of condolences to his counterpart from the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
