30 August 2023 Diplomatic CalendarDeputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel will take part in the informal meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the EU Member States — Gymnich, Toledo, Spain, on 30—31 August 2023. The meeting will include a discussion on the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and the situation in the Sahel and Niger. A working breakfast with the participation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, and a working lunch with the participation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Niger, Hassoumi Massaoudou, and the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, Omar Touray, are also planned.
Within the framework of the Gymnich, Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel will also hold bilateral meetings with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, with the German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock and with the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský.
