Ekaterina Zaharieva will present the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU to the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET)

On 23 January 2018 the Deputy Prime Minister for Judicial Reform and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva will present the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union to theEuropean Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) in Brussels.

Following the tradition, the first diplomat from the country that holds the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU presents the foreign policy priorities of the Presidency to the members of the relevant EP Committee and exchanges views with the MEPs.

Among the highlights during the hearing of Minister Zaharieva will be the key priority on the Bulgarian agenda for the following six months – the European perspective for the Western Balkan countries.
