On April 5, Bulgarians and Australians celebrated, at the invitation of the Bulgarian Embassy in Canberra, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Bulgaria. The famous National Carillon on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin was illuminated with the colors of the Bulgarian flag.
