On 23th of March 2024, the Eighth Meeting of Cuban graduates of Bulgarian universities held in Havana. More than 130 Cuban citizens gathered for the meeting, some of whom came from other cities and countries.

On 16th of February 2024, the heads of diplomatic missions of EU member states in Havana planted trees in the canyon along the Yumuri River, Baracoa, Guantanamo Region. The initiative is part of the program of the official visit of the ambassadors of the EU member states to the Cuban provinces of Guantanamo, Baracoa and Santiago de Cuba, held from 12 to 18th of February. Ambassadors planted trees, marking the beginning of a "future EU forest".

The Book Fair (FILH 2024), one of the most prestigious events in Cuba's annual cultural calendar, took place in Havana from 15th to 25th of April.

As from 1 March 2020, road vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes circulating on paid road sections in Bulgaria will have to pay for their use distance-based road charges – toll. The toll replaces the electronic vignette for heavy vehicles and buses.
