As part of the initiatives organized by the Embassy within the framework of the Europe Month being held in Cuba, on 11 of April 2024, a "Cooking Workshop" took place at restaurant "Bulgaria" in Old Havana. In addition to the Cuban students signed up to participate and the team of the Bulgarian diplomatic mission, representatives of the Historians Office of Havana, employees of the EU Delegation in Cuba, the Bulgarian community and journalists were present.

Ten students from "Ángela Landa" elementary school learned about the history of Bulgarian yogurt and traditional recipes made with it. The children cooked and tasted typical Bulgarian food. Each child received a Diploma for "Little master chef of Bulgarian cuisine" and a bag with educational materials.

Assistants to Ambassador Todor Kanchevski's were the Cuban students Amelia Alba Aguilera Machín and Mauro Vázquez Cárdenas, who participate in another initiative of the embassy within the framework of the Month of Europe - "Diplomat for a month".
