We are committed to fostering comprehensive and mutually beneficial relations with the countries to which the Embassy is accredited. Cuba has traditionally held a special place in Bulgaria and continues to enjoy great popularity among the Bulgarian people. Bulgarian-Cuban relations span more than six decades and are founded on genuine friendship, mutual understanding between our peoples, and significant potential for further development. Today, Bulgaria and Cuba maintain an active dialogue, and favourable conditions exist for bringing renewed momentum to our bilateral relations.
We also work towards strengthening Bulgaria’s political and economic relations with the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. In the consular and information fields, the Embassy additionally covers the other countries of the Caribbean region.
Alongside our efforts to promote political and economic cooperation with the countries of the region and to showcase the achievements of Bulgarian culture and arts, a key priority of the Embassy remains engagement with the Bulgarian community abroad and the provision of assistance to Bulgarian citizens residing in or visiting the region.
