At the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on January 12, 2023. after a two-year break, the first New Year's meeting of the Polish presidential couple with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Poland took place. The event was also attended by: the President of the Senate, the Deputy President of the Sejm, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, senior spiritual representatives of all faiths in Poland and other guests.

Concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute at the Royal Castle in Warsaw
On October 16, 2022, a gala concert was held in the Concert Hall of the Royal Castle in Warsaw - one of the most prestigious venues for cultural events in the Polish capital - in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw. The concert, jointly organized by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Poland, was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, Prof. Borislava Taneva.

An exhibition of paintings from the collection of the National Military History Museum in Sofia opened at the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw
On September 22, 2022, an exhibition of 42 paintings by famous Bulgarian artists created during the Balkan Wars and World War I opened at the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw. The exhibition, which coincides with the 110th anniversary of the outbreak of the First Balkan War and was opened on Bulgaria’s Independence Day, is entitled “I Had No Weapons. I Had a Backpack and a Tripod” and will remain at the prestigious Warsaw museum until November 6, 2022.

The forum is hosted and initiated by the Polish Ministry of the Interior. The meeting was attended by ministers and high-ranking representatives from Austria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine, Moldova and the United Kingdom.

Information about the Bulgarian participation in the 13th International Fair of Tourism and Leisure, Wroclaw March 4-6, 2022
In the period 4-6 March 2022 the 13th edition of the International Tourism and Leisure Fair in Wroclaw (International Tourism Trade Show) was held.
The Ministry of Tourism, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Warsaw, organized a presentation of Bulgaria with an information stand on an area of 50 sq.m. Bulgaria was also a partner country of the exhibition. The following Bulgarian tourist companies were presented at the national stand: Albena Tour, Credo-Joanna EOOD, Landis, On Holidays and SEVE Travel, as well as the Ministry of Tourism through the national tourist representation.

Musical evening with a message of solidarity
On February 26 this year BCI - Warsaw in cooperation with the Embassy organized a holiday program to mark the national holiday March 3 - the Day of the Liberation of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The musical evening with Bulgarian folklore and ethno jazz was attended by over 100 guests - mostly Polish connoisseurs of Bulgarian traditions and culture. Among the audience in the crowded hall were journalists, museum and music specialists. Welcoming remarks were made by Margarita Ganeva - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Poland. The musical evening, unfortunately, came under extremely difficult times for the first time since the end of World War II - the open military aggression by the Putin regime against Poland's and Bulgaria's neighboring country, Ukraine.
