A celebration was held in Warsaw at the Bulgarian School "Dora Gabe" - Warsaw

On the eve of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, on March 2, 2024, a celebration was held in Warsaw at the Bulgarian School "Dora Gabe" - Warsaw. Students, teachers, parents and other representatives of the Bulgarian community were present. The rich program included an open lesson dedicated to March 3, a quiz with prizes for students and an artistic program. Guests of the event were the performers of the amateur Bulgarian folklore group "Bulgarika" from Warsaw.

The opening of a retrospective exhibition of works by architect Tseno Todorov took place in the hall of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw.

On February 29, the opening of a retrospective exhibition of works by architect Tseno Todorov, who has lived and worked in Poland for decades, took place in the hall of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw. The exhibition, organized within the framework of a series of cultural events to present the artistic talent of our compatriots permanently living in Poland, includes watercolors, graphics and drawings, representing mainly landscapes from Bulgaria and other countries, created in the period from the late 1970s to the present day, executed in watercolor and graphic techniques. The exhibition was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mrs. Margarita Ganeva, and by the Director of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, Mrs. Kalina Stancheva, in the presence of the artist himself and over 50 guests.

On March 1, 2024, a solemn celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria – March 3rd – took place in the large concert hall of the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Poland and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw and included a ceremonial part and a concert by the distinguished Bulgarian pianist Lyudmil Angelov, followed by a cocktail party.

On Saturday, November 25, 2023, the Bulgarian school "Dora Gabe" in Warsaw, at the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw, held an open lesson dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews, combined with a viewing of the exhibition "Jews in Bulgarian Lands", which collected documentary evidence of the life of the Jewish community in our country from the funds of the National Library "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", which is currently on display on the territory of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Warsaw.

On November 8, 2023, the second part of the Embassy's program in Warsaw was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Warsaw, within the framework of the National Program for Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Rescue of Bulgarian Jews during World War II, with the participation of Prof. Todor Tanev from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", dedicated to the history of Bulgarian Jews, with an emphasis on the period of World War II.

An international conference was held in Warsaw on the topic "Energy Security after 2023 - Achieving Winter Readiness in Turbulent Times"

On September 14, an international conference on "Energy Security Beyond 2023 - Achieving Winter Readiness in Turbulent Times" was held in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by ministers and deputy ministers of energy from across Europe, as well as the Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine (via video link) Herman Galushchenko, and the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency Mary Burse Warlick. The aim of the conference was to exchange experience and good practices from the difficult and tense past year and to discuss future challenges facing the energy sector.
