On November 1^st, 2023 at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music (ZJCM), Hangzhou, the opening ceremony of the 4th China-CEEC Forum of Music Academy Deans and Rectors and China-CEEC Music and Dance Festival took place. Both forums are scheduled for the period October 30^th – November 7^th, 2023 and the Bulgarian participants include Prof. Sava Dimitrov, rector of National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” and his colleague Assoc. Prof. Mariana Pencheva, as well as Prof. Natalia Afeyan and Assist. Prof. Margarita Krusteva from the Department of Music at New Bulgarian University.  

In his speech at the opening ceremony the Consul General of Bulgaria Vladislav Spasov underlined the long lasting and fruitful cooperation between Bulgaria and China in the areas of musical arts, the active exchange of students and latest musical performances of ZJCM artists in Bulgaria.

The Zhejiang Conservatory of Music was established on 1 March 2016. In its incredible atmosphere, the hosts - Prof. Wang Rui, President of ZJCM and Prof. Dong Dejun, Vice President of ZJCM, accompanied by lecturers and students, together with their guests from Bulgaria and other CEEC will exchange good practices, knowledge and create new initiatives in the upcoming week.
