A naming ceremony for 31800DWT Lake Bulk Carrier MV “KOM” of Navigation Maritime Bulgare (NAVIBULGAR) was held on 20 August 2021 at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co.

MV “KOM” has been built in accordance with the newest standards of efficiency and environment protection. 

The name of the Carrier MV “KOM” was given by Mrs. Snezhina Trendafilova, wife of engineer Radoslav Trendafilov – head of NAVIBULGAR’s office for control of shipbuilding in China. The first captain of MV “KOM” is long haul Captain Marian Yotov

The Consul General of Bulgaria in Shanghai Mr. Vladislav Spasov was also present at the ceremony.

Since 2010 NAVIBULGAR has built 16 new ships in China.
