The 21st China International Fair for Investment and Trade took place in Xiamen, Fujian province on 8-11 September 2021. Bulgaria participated with a booth set by the Consulate General in Shanghai. The Consul General of Bulgaria Mr. Vladislav Spasov gave a speech at the Fourth High-level Forum on “Belt and Road” Development and the Head of the Commercial Section of the Consulate General Mr. Kostadin Djatev presented Bulgarian start-ups at the Exchange meeting on Cross-border Cooperation. At matchmaking meetings, the Bulgarian investment environment was presented to the interested Chinese companies.

According to the organizing committee of the 21^st CIFIT, in the international fair in person and online participated 90 countries and regions, more than 820 delegations and 4 900 companies, as well as around 50 000 merchants.
