At the Special session in the Human Rights Council, convened urgently on 12 February to address the political crisis in Myanmar, the Permanent representative of Bulgaria, H. E. Ambassador Yuri Sterk, stated the position of Bulgaria in support of the democratic transition, national reconciliation and accountability for human rights violations in Myanmar
