Reception for the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria
The National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria has been celebrated in Tallinn. The reception, which was held in the EU Delegation premises, was attended by politicians, diplomats, artists, representatives of the Estonian Foreign Ministry and the Bulgarian community in Estonia. Indrek Laul, honorary consul of Bulgaria, had the excellent initiative to present a video of the tourist attractions and the wonders of Bulgarian nature. The video was received very well and the Governor of the Estonian National Bank Ardo Hansson declared he decided to change his vacation plans for 2019 and instead, visit Bulgaria.

“Crystal Stream” art exhibition
On the 6th of March 2019 Bulgarian Embassy in Helsinki celebrated the National Day of Bulgaria with the “Crystal Stream” art exhibition. The exhibition is already the fifth event of the “Art Sauna” cultural initiative of the Embassy. “Crystal Stream” displayed the works of four young artists from the master class of Prof. Marko Vuokola from the Finnish Fine Arts Academy. In his welcoming words Ambassador Ivanov stressed that this year the Embassy of Bulgaria has decided to celebrate the National Day in a vanguard and more beautiful way. The exhibition opening was attended by Finnish artists, politicians, diplomats as well as by representatives of the Finnish Foreign Ministry and the Bulgarian community in Finland.

Introduction of e-vignette and toll in Bulgaria
An electronic system (e-vignette and toll), as a modern way of charging for the use of the national road network, is introduced in Bulgaria as of 1 January 2019.
