On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, on March 4th 2024 at the Monument of the fallen Finnish warriors from the Finnish Battalion located in the courtyard of the Headquarters of the Finnish Defence Forces and the Ministry of Defense of Finland was held the traditional solemn ceremony with military honors with the participation of the Commanders of the Guard's Jaeger Regiment, the Guard Battalion and the Helsinki garrison, military and members of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society. The national flag of the Republic of Bulgaria was raised and the national anthem of Bulgaria was played by a military brass band.

On the occasion of the National initiatives to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Rescue of the Bulgarian Jews during World War II, on the 8th of November 2023 the documentary “49,172” was presented in Helsinki. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Finland.

On October 24th, 2023 in Helsinki was held the annual ceremony to commemorate the 146-th anniversary of the Battle of Gorni Dabnik (24.10.1877) - the most significant battle involving the Finnish Battalion in the Russian-Turkish War.

On 19th of October 2023 at Eurooppasali in the European Commission Representation in Finland was presented the Bulgarian movie “From Cremona to Cremona”. European Film Weeks are organized by the European Commission Representation in Finland and the European Parliament Liaison Office in Finland, together with the embassies and cultural institutes of EU countries. This year's motto of the film weeks is "Skills".

On September 15, 2023 a solemn celebration of the 211th anniversary of the establishment of the Finnish Guards Rifle Battalion took place at Santahamina military base in Helsinki.

On 19th November 2022 in Helsinki was held a ceremony to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society in the Republic of Finland proceeded by a reception. The event was organized by the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Finland.
