The Bulgarian Consulate General in New York hosted an event, dedicated to the development of the Bulgarian startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial spirit. It was co-organized with Endeavor and Future Unicorns Accelerator / Bulgaria Innovation Hub, Inc. and attended by dozens of representatives of the Bulgarian community in and outside of New York, who once again gathered at the Consulate General to learn more about entrepreneurial activities in Bulgaria and investment opportunities in innovative projects.

The goal of the event was to provide information about various business opportunities in Bulgaria and to create contacts aimed at engaging the Bulgarian business community in New York with the Bulgarian ecosystem in the field of innovation. Pavlina Yanakieva (co-founder of Silicon Valley-based Future Unicorns Accelerator and Bulgaria Innovation Hub, Inc.), together with Momchil Vassilev (CEO of Endeavor Bulgaria, based in Sofia) and Presian Karakostov (member of several boards, including BESCO - The Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association, Endeavor Bulgaria, Future Unicorns Accelerator, based in Sofia), representing the organizers, made exciting presentations in response to the interest of the community.

The event was attended by members of the boards of Endeavor Bulgaria and Future Unicorns Accelerator, including Simeon Simeonov and Dennis Smith, who, in informal conversations after the presentations, introduced the guests to the opportunities that the local Bulgarian ecosystem offers. The two NGOs are at the forefront of supporting high-impact entrepreneurs in Bulgaria, contributing to a growing and dynamic ecosystem.

Consul General Angel Angelov welcomed the guests, reviewed the latest events in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation held at the Bulgarian consulate, and encouraged the participants, living on both sides of the Ocean, to develop contacts with each other so that Bulgaria's great potential in this area can be realized.
