No Bulgarians injured in the bombings in Boston
16 April 2013 NewsAccording to the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Washington, no Bulgarians were injured in the explosions in Boston. On April 15 2013, two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon at 2.50pm local time, at an interval of 12 seconds. A third explosive device was disposed of by security forces. Three people died as a result of the blasts. More than 140 were injured, 17 of them critically, and 25 people are in a serious condition.
The Embassy in Washington and the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York are in constant contact with the local authorities.
