The Bulgarian Ambassador in Islamabad Mrs. Irena Gancheva visited the National Library of Pakistan and had a very productive discussion with the Director General of the Library Mr. Ashraf Khan on the ways to expand the cooperation with the National Library of Bulgaria “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”.

On May 20th, 2021 the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ms. Irena Gancheva presented copies of her Letters of Credence to DG Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Mr. Hassan Afzal Khan.

On April 2nd 2021 a meeting was conducted in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Islamabad between Mr. Mihail Hartarsky (Chargé d'Affaires), Mr. Muhammad Shafique Marllowe (President of Pakistan Sports&Cultural Association – PSCA), Mr. Zulfiqar Ali (Secretary General - PSCA) and Mr. Amer Butt (Executive Member - PSCA).

In connection to the upcoming celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria (03.03.2021) and in accordance with the environment protection policy adopted by the Pakistani authorities, on 23.02.2021 a tree planting event took place at the garden of the Bulgarian Embassy in Islamabad.
