On 17 February 2024 the Embassy of Bulgaria participated in the EuroVillage festival in Islamabad – a popular, family-focused event, co-organized by the Delegation of the European Union and the diplomatic missions of EU Member States in Pakistan. Titled „Stronger Together – Sustainable Forever“, the festival aimed to showcase the theme of co-creating a sustainable future.
The Bulgarian participation was centered around the sustainable Bulgarian spirit that is shaped by centuries-old traditions, rich history and culture, and strong commitment to environment protection and nature preservation. The Bulgarian booth attracted a large number of visitors, including many children, who learned interesting facts about Bulgaria and through creative activities, such as drawing, expressed their ideas about the country and its friendly bilateral relations with Pakistan.
EuroVillage 2024 welcomed thousands of visitors and was widely covered by leading Pakistani media.
