On November 21, 2011 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Israel, Yuri Sterk and  the Counselor for trade and economic issues at the Bulgarian Embassy Vladimir Velkov, visited the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce at the invitation of its President, Uri Halfon. During the visit the Bulgarian diplomats met with executives of Israeli companies - members of the JCC, active in Bulgaria or interested in developing cooperation with Bulgarian partners.

Ambassador Sterk and Mr. Velkov  also visited the headquarters and a manufacturing unit of the Wissman company specializing in the manufacture and importation of furniture. They could observe the manufacturing process and were shown items produced and imported from Bulgaria. Prospects and opportunities for expanding the cooperation of  "Wissman" with Bulgarian furniture manufacturers were also discussed.
